Libby + Seth’s Stylish Bohemian Wedding at NZ High Country
Childhood sweethearts Libby and Seth met through mutual friends. Friendship soon evolved into a love bigger than they could ever imagine.
Seth proposed to Libby during a family holiday to Mammoth Lakes in California. What followed was a whirlwind 7 months of planning and dreaming to create their perfect wedding day. When I first met Libby and Seth during their venue scouting trip to Queenstown they shared their vision for the perfect venue. It would be set in nature in preferably a glass house or clear marquee so their guests could enjoy the incredible natural landscape. After hours and hours of searching on the internet, they discovered NZ High Country in Queenstown. During this trip to Queenstown, they visited the stunning mountain top venue and it blew them away with how perfect it fitted their vision.
The Styling
Tussock Point overlooking the Remarkable Mountains and Lake Wakatipu was the spot for their ceremony. The reception took place in a luxe glass marquee decked out with floating greenery and hanging lights. The Flower Room created the romantic moody blooms with the help of One Fine Day who helped to create the most magical atmosphere.
The Dress
Libby describes that moment of finding her perfect dress as an overwhelming sense of excitement and butterflies in her stomach. The Cleo Gown from NZ wedding dress designer Rue De Seine was quite different to the dress she had imagined for herself. But just one fitting and all her ‘girls’ agreed this is ‘the one’ and so perfect for Libby.
Libby and Seth were delighted by how beautiful their day turned out. It was the perfect mix of an inspirational natural landscape, sleek style, and bohemian elements. Wildly romantic and full of love and laughter surrounded by those they cherish the most.
